The Steps of Knowledge[]
One of the greatest fighters of the future was Axel Stone. Legend has it that Axel has been fighting to defeat a villain trying to take over the city of New York named Mr. X. All of this had taken place in the year 2011. One day, Mr. X used robots to destroy the whole city. Axel then teamed up with two other great fighters named Adam and Blaze. It took them hours to fight the bad guys that Mr. X hired to try to defeat them. But when they finally found Mr. X, they found and disabled the switch that was controlling the robots and defeated Mr. X. Afterwards, the town had congratulated the team and appreciated them for what they did. Axel couldn't have done it without his lucky sword which ended up nowhere but in the temple. The Sword can be found in The Tomb of the Headless Kings.

Enemy Warriors[]
Before each team were two boulders and enemy warriors. When Kirk gave the signal, Jeff and Kenny had to push their boulders on their enemies' side to knock down their warriors making sure they guard their warriors by blocking their opponents' boulders. The player who knocks down all four warriors or whoever is further along in 60 seconds wins. Jeff won 3-1.
New York Areas[]
Before each team were pieces of a map of New York Areas: The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. When Kirk gave the signal, Mint and Erica had to grab a piece and climb over the building in front of them and place the piece on the board on the opposite side. The Player who gets all four pieces on the board or whoever is furthest along in 60 seconds wins. Mint won 4-2.
Climbing the Building[]
Before each team was a big building. When Kirk gave the signal, both players had to climb up to the top of the building helping their teammate up. The team that reaches the top wins. Both teams reached the top giving them a full pendant. BUT the Red Jaguars have 2 pendants sending them to the temple.

The Temple Run[]
Jeff went first. He started by heading up into the crypt and the first one was a charm so then he heads into the pit where he knocks down the column. Then, he headed up into the King's Storeroom where he encounters a temple guard. He smashes the first pot but didn't find the key. He smashes the next pot and found the key and fits it in the hole where the pot was and opens the door to the room of the ancient warriors. There, he tried the first armor, which didn't work. Then he tries the second armor and that didn't work either. So then, he tried the very last armor which opened the door to the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. When he entered, a temple guard caught him. So then it was time for Mint to go in in search of the sword. She headed toward where Jeff left off and headed to the Shrine and assembled the monkey and climbed down into the Quicksand Bog. There, she smashes to the Dark Forest and found the key with no temple guard inside one of the two trees and opened the door to Jester's Court where she was only one room away from the sword. She tried the first painting. That didn't work. She tried the second painting. That one worked! Next, she entered the Tomb of the Headless Kings and grabbed the sword! She then rushed through the pit, climbed through the ledges...and made it out with 30 seconds left!

Each team is lying on a raft. When Kirk said "You want it?", each team had to paddle their ass as quickly as possible. Once they're gay, he/she will step off, and his/her partner push it through their asshole. As soon as the second teammate had sex, it was his job to run over and hit the bong. The first four teams to hit their bongs went on to the next round.

The Missing Calendar of the Mayans is a Legends of the Hidden Temple YouTube Special created by Lauren Henneberg (aka PirateCaptainLauren). It was her humble attempt at a complete "Legends of the Hidden Temple" game show. The Purple Parrots and Orange Iguanas couldn't make it for game, but Henneberg did her best to put on the whole show anyway with the time and equipment she had available. This was filmed in Blue Ridge, Georgia on July 29, 2012 for Henneberg's legendary 30th birthday and premiered to YouTube on August 3, 2013. The amazing "Olmec" model was carved out of Pink Panther foam insulation boards and installed with a sound-activated circuit board for glowing red eyes, created by Steven Spelman of Wildwood Studios. Henneberg's friend, Alan Tapp was the voice of Olmec, and her cousin Derek Loftis helped her produce the whole show.

The Steps of Knowledge[]
For centuries, popular culture has believed that the Mayan Calendar ends on December 21, 2012. It has been believed by many that that the end of the Mayan Calendar would trigger an apocalypse and the end of the world. Newly discovered wall writings found in Guatemala showed famed Maya Culture's obsession with cycles of time. But they also show calendars that go well-beyond 2012. "So much for the supposed end of the world!" says archaeologist William Saturno of Boston University who reported the discovery on May 10, 2012. Discovered in the ruins of Xultun, the astronomical calendar was unearthed. While about 7 million Maya people still live in Central America today, the Classic Maya Civilization of pyramid temples had collapsed there by about 900 A.D.. Leaving only the few birch bark books, they passed the 14th century as records of astronomy until now. Explorers first reported the site of Xultun, once a large Maya center in 1915. But it was only 2 years ago that National Geographic Society-funded archaeologists noticed the small residential room partly exposed by looters. The room's walls grouped a whole murals and small delicate hieroglyphics inscribed between rows between paintings of scribes and rulers that not only corresponded to a 260-day ceremonial calendar and a 365-day year, but a 584-day sky track of Venus and a 780-day one of Mars. The hieroglyphs painted in black and red along with a colorful mural of a king and his mysterious attendance seemed to be a handy reference chart for court scribes in A.D. 800 - the astronomers and mathematicians of their day. "Contrary to popular myth, this calendar isn't a countdown to the end of the world in December 2012." the study researchers said. "The Mayan Calendar is going to keep going for billions, trillions, octillions of years into the future." says archaeologist David Stuart of University of Texas who worked to decipher the glyphs; numbers we can't even wrap our heads around! After this remarkable New Mayan Calendar discovery, the map to the lost Mayan city of Xultun mysteriously disappeared. The map can be found in the Mine Shaft.

The Temple Games[]
Mayan Calendar Puzzle[]
Each team had to put together a large wooden puzzle of the Mayan Calendar. The Blue Barracudas won the half pendant.
Trampoline Ball[]
Ball games were very important to the Mayans. Here, teams need to get 10 points by picking up their colored ball throwing it on the trampoline trying to make its way into the score point holes. They'll alternate until one team gets 10 points. The Green Monkeys won the half pendant.
Slide Ball[]
Ball games were very important to the Mayans in very religious ceremonies, usually held right before sacrifices and other rituals. Here, contestants had to do something similar - contestants had to use the same colored balls from the previous temple game trying to get them through the hoops without using their hands, because that's how the Mayans did it. Like the previous temple game, teams had to alternate, but they had to race to the hoops sliding. The first team to get all 3 balls through the hoop without using their hands wins. The Green Monkeys won the full pendant.

Mike went first. He started by going into The Pirate's Cove where he spun the wheel proceeding to The King's Storeroom finding the key and Matt's half pendant in case he has to go in. He then traversed into The Shrine of the Silver Monkey where he ran into a Temple Guard surrendering his pendant. He assembled the monkey and then dashed into The Observatory where he isolated Venus and Mars. After that, he made his way into The Dark Forest where he got taken out giving Matt a chance to go in. He followed Mike's path and unnecessarily smashed a pot in the king's storeroom and found the half pendant in there. He made it to the dark forest where a temple guard reappeared. Mike had both halves, so he surrendered them. He plowed into the mine shaft where the missing map was. He grabbed it. He didn't know which way to go almost making a wrong turn and then went the right way and made it out with 1:06 to spare!

The Steps of Knowledge[]
In 1284, the town of Hamelin was suffering a terrible rat infestation. Nearly everyone was overrun with the vermin. Legend has it that one day, a man wearing pied clothing and a flute came along with a solution. "Listen Mayor, just leave it to me! I can use my special flute to get rid of every rat in this town!" "Ha! I'll believe it when I see it, but if you're not pullin' my leg, I'll make sure you get paid in full." Outside, the piper went straight to work, blaring a haunting melody on his flute. All the rats were immediately entranced and fled straight to him. He then led the rats into the Weser River, where they drowned. But after this, the Mayor withdrew his promise and the piper left with nothing. The next day, he played his flute again, this time luring away all the children. This caused the citizens to pay him several times the original price. His flute years later was discarded after his retirement, and made its way to the Temple.

Rat Infestation (Peanut Shaft)[]
In the legend, the Piper led the rats out of town with his flute. However, Simon and Mason had to do it by hand. Each player was trapped inside a shaft with rats squirming around the bottom. When Kirk gave the signal, each player had to take a rat, and climb up the shaft. Once at the top, he had to toss the rat out, then drop back down and start again. The player that got all 6 rats out OR the player furthest along in 60 seconds won. Mason won 6-5 with 0:12 to spare.
Weser River (Ramp)[]
The Piper successfully managed to drown the rats in the Weser River, and now it's Mikaela and Xandra's turn. But instead of bringing the rats to the river, she shall bring the river to the rats. Before each player is a ramp, and at the top are 3 buckets containing Weser River water. When Kirk gave the signal, each player had to make her way up the ramp, dump one of the buckets on the rats below, then slide back down and start again. The player with all 3 buckets toppled OR the player furthest along in 60 seconds won. Mikaela won 3-2 with 0:34 to spare.
Hypnotic Flute (Pulley Pillar)[]
The Pied Piper's flute was specially made with hypnotic powers. Now, the teams had to make one themselves. Beside each team are six pieces of a flute. When Kirk gave the signal, each teammate had to alternate going up and down the pole, placing a piece of the flute on the top. The team to get all the pieces of their flute together OR the team with the most pieces in place at the end of 60 seconds won. The Orange Iguanas won 6-5 with 0:07 to spare sending them to Olmec's Temple with 1½ Pendants.

Mikaela went first. She was fast, intelligent, and knew exactly what she was doing. She started by heading up into the Three Gargoyles. No problem up there. She then progressed into the Wall Climb and headed straight into the Heart Room where she ran into a Temple Guard. She surrendered her pendant of life and climbed up into the Observatory. There, she spun the sundial and headed down into the Golden Idols. In that room, she was removed as she tried to hug an idol. After that, Simon took off and found the half pendant on the Wall Climb actuator to the Heart Room. From that room, instead of heading up into the Observatory, he headed straight into the Golden Idols and hugged the center idol taking him into the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. He then assembled the silver monkey and headed straight down into the Tomb of the Ancient Kings. He found the key and headed into the Swamp where he was one room away from the hypnotic flute. He punched the actuator to the Throne Room where the hypnotic flute was. In the Throne Room, he found the hypnotic flute and escaped the temple with it with 0:50 to spare!

The Steps of Knowledge[]
One of the most deceptive gentlemen in the Victorian age was Lord Barkis Bittern. He had cheated many people from their profits, but his methods had sluggish results, until one day he came across a ravishing young maiden. Her name was Emily, daughter of a most wealthy aristocrat, and at once the two were overwhelmed by each other. After a few days of meeting, Emily had some bad news to Barkis. "Oh, my love, it appears our marriage will never come to pass-my father has forbid it!" "Ah, but what does he know about true love? Not to worry my dear, I've already thought of a solution." At 2:45 the next morning, Emily was waiting at the old oak tree with her mother's gown stitched with priceless jewelry, and a bouquet of roses dyed royal blue. Suddenly, something appeared right behind her! "Darling? Is that you?" Indeed it was, but instead of a wedding ring, he brought...a knife! Barkis quickly done her in his "corpse bride", and stripped her of her jewels. "I suppose this bouquet should fetch a good 10 pounds, as well." The fiend sold everything he stole, and the bouquet ended up in the Temple years later.

Special Vows I (Peanut Shaft)[]
Back in the Victorian era, couples who wanted to marry had to recite special vows. The first of those vows were: "With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty, for I will be your wine." Kieran and Andrew were trapped inside a shaft with goblets at the bottom. When Kirk gave the signal, each player had to grab a goblet, and climb up the shaft. Once at the top, he had to place the goblet in the container, then drop back down and start again. The player that puts all 6 goblets in their container OR the player furthest along in 60 seconds won. Kieran won 6-4 with 0:14 to spare.
Special Vows II (Bungee Soap Ramp)[]
The second part of the vows was: "With this candle, I will light your way in darkness." Before each player is a ramp, and at the top are 3 candles. When Kirk gave the signal, Natalie and Zoe had to make their way up the ramp, light a candle, then slide back down and start again. The player with all 3 candles lit OR the player furthest along in 60 seconds won. Natalie won 3-1 with 0:09 to spare.
Special Vows III (Pulley Pillar)[]
The last part of the vows was: With this ring, I ask you to be mine." Beside each team are eight rings with a column. When Kirk gave the signal, each player will alternate going up and down the pole, placing a ring in the column. The team to get all the rings on their column OR the team with the most rings at the end of 60 seconds won. The Steps of Knowledge[]
On an island in an uncharted part of the world lived the sorcerer Prospero, and his daughter Miranda. They were stranded there by his jealous brother Antonio, with the help of Alonso, the king of Naples. For 12 years since then, Prospero had been practicing powerful magic. Legend has it that on one fateful day, he saw a ship passing by the island. "Ahhh. What great fortune. I see that my beloved brother is on that ship. I shall now have him repay his long debt to me..." And so, he used his magical staff to create a mighty storm; a tempest that caused the ship to run aground. He then separated his brother from the other survivors, so that he would believe to be the only one left alive. As the survivors of the wreck wandered around the island, Prospero eventually has his servant spirit Arial leading them all to him. He forgave Antonio for his wrongdoing, and promised to use his magic to send them all safely back home. "All is finally said and done. It is high time I started living a normal life now, so I will no longer need my magic." Prospero broke his staff and buried it, but years later, it found its way to the temple.

One of the greatest whale hunters on the 7 seas was Captain Ahab. His life's goal was to find & kill the legendary white whale, Moby Dick. "I'll not rest...I will not sleep until that Moby Dick is mine! After what he did to me...Took my leg, he did! I shall get him for that, if I have to follow him to the ends of the earth!" Eventually, he found a crew willing to take on such a task. On their voyage, they caught up to Moby Dick 3 times. "Aye, there she blooows!" On the 3rd encounter, Ahab finally attempted to kill the mighty creature with his trusted harpoon. He leaped on to its back and stabbed it, only to find his harpoon broken from the whale's hide. In the end, Moby Dick destroyed the ship and crew, and left Ahab to die strangled on its side. Ahab's broken harpoon floated away, until it found its way to the temple years later.

The Moat[]
Before each team was a ring floating in the moat attached to a rope tied to a pole on the other side. When Kirk gave the signal, one player had to get on the ring and pull on the rope to the other side. Once out, he had to throw the ring back to his partner so that they may do the same. When both players were out of the water, they had to run over and hit the gong.

Before each team were small rafts with an ancient cane, and a knotted rope up above. When Kirk gave the signal, the first player had to use the cane to hook onto the knots on the rope to drag the raft to the other side. Once across, the partner must pull the raft back with the cane on top, and cross the same way. When both players were out of the water, they both had to run over and hit the gong.
