The King's Storeroom is a room in Olmec's Temple. The main objective of getting through this room is to smash the clay pots atop the pedestals, and find a key inside one of them. Then one would try and fit the key into the keyholes on the pedestals to open the doors. At the beginning of Season 3, the King's Storeroom had replaced the Observatory (picture in infobox). While in place of the Observatory, the old background had stayed and a large, triangular tray on the floor was added in the middle of the three pedestals so contestants would not have to make a mess when smashing the clay pots to trying to find the key.

Notes[]

  • This was the one and only successor of the Observatory, and the only room that was relocated from its original location in the Temple.
  • The slabs had been renamed as "doors" by Kirk in some episodes in Season 3.
  • The right slab (the pathway to the Pit of Despair/the Pit of the Pendulum) is dark in Season 2, but in Season 3, the crew adjusts the lighting to see said slab.
  • All three episodes that featured half pendants in the King's Storeroom in its new location featured artifacts in the Quicksand Bog.
  • In the CW reboot series, the Royal Rage Room is similar to the King's Storeroom, as it, too, has a task of smashing clay pots to find keys necessary to progress forward through the Temple.
