The Room of the Three Gargoyles (Layouts I-VII) |
The Cave of Sighs was a room in Olmec's Temple. One of two entry rooms, this room is positioned such that the "objective" must be completed whether or not the artifact has been retrieved, a trait shared by such rooms as the Pit of Despair, the Heart Room, and the Swamp.
Since the entrance to this room was closer to the Temple Gates than the entrance to either the Room of the Three Gargoyles or the Room of the Royal Gongs, it was far more popular a choice. Interestingly, when the room changed into the Ledges for Season 2, the room remained relatively unchanged aside from one barrier's construction and a paint job.
Notes
- In John Henry's Lost Hammer, The Star of Sultan Saladin, King Tut's Cobra Staff, and The Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra, a temple guard can be seen without him being encountered.
